The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Silver Cup Division FAQ

What is the Silver Cup Division?

The Silver Cup Division is a new division meant for mid-level teams that typically have not played in State Cup in the past years. We wanted to provide an opportunity for mid-level teams to play like-leveled opponents from across the State of Nevada. This division will also help teams that haven't played State Cup in the past gage if they're ready for the National Championship Series Division.

Who is eligible to compete in Silver Cup?

Any team that is currently not competing in the USYS Desert Conference or USYS National League Showcase is eligible for Silver Cup.

If we win Silver Cup do we move on to a regional tournament?

No. Silver Cup winners will not move on to any regional event.

What is the price?

The price for the league play weekend will be $675. This price does not include referee fees as that will be billed after the registration deadline. Should your team finish top four, you would qualify for the finals weekend which would be another $350 but that does include referee fees.

What age groups will be offered in Silver Cup?

Boys & Girls 11U to 20U if there is a minimum of four teams entered in each bracket.

What is the format?

Silver Cup will be played the same weekends as the National Championship Series (NCS) division. We will only have a bracket in an age group if a minimum of four teams register. Should we not meet the four team minimum, teams will be offered the opportunity to compete in the NCS division but if they choose not to, we will refund teams should they have already paid.

What makes State Cup different than other leagues?

State Cup offers the highest quality environment for league play in Nevada. The below are examples of a few things that set us apart from the rest:

  • All games have 4 elite referees
  • Athletic Trainers on site at all times
  • All fields have team benches and tents provided
  • Hydration provided
  • League staff available on site at all times
  • All goals are sand-bagged
  • All fields have corner flags
  • Extensive social media coverage
