LAS VEGAS, NV (October 4, 2016) — Nevada Youth Soccer Association (NYSA) announced today the hiring of the new management team that will support statewide youth soccer participants, NYSA President Guy Hobbs and the Board.
The new management team will oversee the day-to-day operations of NYSA which serves the more than 10,000 youth soccer players statewide, boys and girls ages 5 to 19. Duties include management and sanctioning of youth soccer games and tournaments in Nevada, providing insurance, oversight of the Olympic Development Program, community outreach and field management for the City of Las Vegas.
Effective as of October 1st, NYSA’s management team is:
- Bob Briare, Director,
- Kelsey Tesoro, Director Programs and Events; and,
- Cynthia Sandoval, Office Manager and State Registrar.
“We welcome our new team to the NYSA family, said Guy Hobbs, president. “Soccer is growing in Nevada and around the country and our organization looks to promote soccer in our state, while giving each youth athlete who wants to play soccer a well managed and fun experience”.
Bob Briare is a native Las Vegan and has played and coached soccer for 48 years. He has held positions with local soccer clubs and has been an NYSA board member.
Kelsey Tesoro played soccer in Las Vegas at Shadow Ridge High school, and played as a central defender for Dixie State University. She brings both player and leadership experience to her role at NYSA.
Cynthia Sandoval will be the first point of contact for new and old coaches, families and players. She is bi-lingual and has a deep knowledge of the administrative process for NYSA.
